Right now I am reading "Breaking Dawn" to my husband. I have slowly turned him into a Twilight fan too! Not sure if he is a "freak" like me! I love the story. I love the movies!
My husband told me he didn't want me to start reading the rest of "Breaking Dawn" since he would have to wait until November to see the movie. The look I gave him....... I told him that I've been waiting for over two years, and most Twilight fans have waited for about 6 years! He better watch what he says! :)

Obsession is back!!
I have not posted too much recently, but that is not because I got over my obsession. I was too busy reading to actually post too much. I just finished the books for the ninth time and I just started "Twilight" again! I love the books so much and I really love reading the books again and again. I love getting submerged in the world of Bella and Edward.
The more I read the books the more I think that Jacob is a jerk until the fourth book. He still is a little bit of a jerk in "Breaking Dawn" but I can handle him a little more then. I think most of the "Team Jacob" fans aren't fans of Jacob but Taylor Lautner. Now every time I see anything that says "Team Jacob" I think it should be "Team Taylor." I love Taylor Lautner and in the first three movies he's the only reason I even like Jacob in parts of the movie that I disliked Jacob from the book. Does that even make sense?
I love "Midnight Sun" (The unfinished book that Stephenie Meyer wrote that was leaked. It's basically "Twilight" from Edward's view - I love this version almost more than Bella's version). I'm re-reading "Midnight Sun" and "Twilight" at the same time. It's so cool reading Bella then Edward's versions.

Obsessed much?
Okay, I have to admit it. I was resisting but it never lasts for too long. I am almost done with the fourth book...for the seventh time. I'm not sure why I've got this obsession with the Twilight Saga but I like the obsession.
My father-in-law asked me why I would read a book over and over again. Most people can only read a book once and then they move on the the next book.
I have always been able to re-read books. The first book I remember reading was a book I got for Christmas when I was about 16 called "Winter Dreams, Christmas Love". I have read that book probably about 20 times. Then there is the Harry Potter series - which I've read each book multiple times. I enjoy re-reading books. I get another chance to immerse myself in the world that exists in the book. It's my little escape from reality and I thoroughly enjoy it.
I'm hoping to stop reading Twilight after I'm done with the fourth book for the seventh time. I am having a huge pull towards reading "Persuasion" by Jane Austen.
Stephenie Meyer was inspired by some awesome authors, including Jane Austen whom I love. I have only read "Pride and Prejudice" but I own "Mansfield Park" and "Sense and Sensibility" Maybe Jane can smother my obsession for Twilight for at least a few months.

Will my obsession ever cease?
I just finished the fourth book for the sixth time and I am trying to resist starting over. I am a little OCD (or CDO as my mom calls it - it's in alphabetical order) and I like even numbers so if I read
them again then I would have to read it one more time so it would be an even eight times!
Part of me wants to give the books to my sister to keep at her house, but the other part doesn't want to have to go to Cottonwood Heights when I want to read it again.
While reading "Breaking Dawn" it would mention something that had happened in one of the three prior books and it would make me eager to re-read that book again.
I am like an addict and I don't want to stop. They always say that you can't force someone to get help until they are ready. Well......I am not ready yet. I think I'll try to go to the library tomorrow and check out a book that I can read to keep me from re-reading Twilight.
I don't know what it is about the series that has me completely hooked. Maybe it's the relationship between Edward and Bella, maybe I like the action of all the scary things that happen to The Cullen's because of Bella. I'm not sure but the books are very entertaining and difficult for me to put down when I'm reading them. Maybe there is some kind of drug in the pages of the books that make you addicted to the books. I don't know........
I've read a lot of things lately where some authors have been calling Stephenie Meyer names. Saying things like she's not a good author, or is a very juvenile writer. Maybe it's just sour grapes, that they're jealous that Stephenie has all this money from her four books (plus "The Host").
I would love to be able to write a story have as entertaining as hers. Maybe one day....

Any new news?
Not a day goes by that I don't check the internet for some news about the "Twilight" saga, books or movies. I've already pre-ordered my "New Moon" DVD, and I checked to see if I could buy my "Eclipse" opening night tickets, but I couldn't find anything on Megaplex theaters website to pre-order the tickets. :(
I'm almost done reading the series for the sixth time! I told my husband that after I finish the fourth book (again) I need to go to the library and check out something completely different so I can resist reading the books again.
I can't say what it is that makes me want to re-read the books over and over again other than the story is soooooo entertaining and I feel like I'm in Edward and Bella's world when I read. It takes me out of my (sometimes) boring life and into the exciting world of Vampires and Werewolves. I just love the books!

It's official.......I have no willpower when it comes to Twilight
My willpower crumbled and I started reading "Twilight" again. I told my husband that I need a 12-step program to help break my obsession with Twilight, but then I realized that I don't want help. I like being obsessed with the Twilight series. I don't want to stop reading the books, however, I would like to get to the point that I have much more time in between reading the books again.
I check Stephenie Meyer's website about once a day. I want to see if there is anything new poster on her site. I also check Twilight Lexicon for news.
I think my husband and other family members (and a few friends) think I'm crazy for my obsession with Twilight and I may be, but I like my obsession.
Does this make me crazy?

Five times...I must be obsessed
My laptop wasn't working for a bit so I wasn't able to post things when I wanted to.
I just finished "Breaking Dawn" for the fifth time! I have now read the four books of the Twilight Saga five times since Christmas. I am trying to resist reading the books again. My husband has asked my why I've read them over and over again, and I really can't give him a good reason, other than the books really captured my imagination. When I read the books I am transported to the world where Bella and the Cullens exist.
Part of me wishes that world really existed.....Stephenie Meyer makes being a "vegetarian" vampire sound like a good thing.
I'm still obsessed with Twilight movie news and am constantly checking to see if the movie trailer for "Eclipse" has been released. I sooooo want to see it. I got the day off work so my sister, her best friend and my best friend and I can go see the midnight showing of "Eclipse"
My sister and her best friend are "Team Carlisle" since they love Peter Facinelli. They are so cute, freaking out everytime they see Peter Facinelli online, in a movie (Missee's was recently obsessed with watching "Can't Hardly Wait"), in books, etc.
Luckily right now, I'm away from home (and the books) so I can't start reading them over again. I feel like the books are like a very addictive drug to me that I get "high" when I read them. (I'm not going to say that they are like heroin to me since that's what Bella and Edward said in Twilight).
Maybe this extended weekend away will lessen the hold these books have on me.....maybe not.
